Oscar was born and raised on the East River in New York City and has always dreamed of working on the water. After his time as a mechanic in the U.S. Army, he went back to college and found the world of science, aquaculture, and oysters. Now he works lifting cages, sorting oysters, and flipping cages. Being on the water is just the cherry on top!
